From Interstate 10 take the Coolidge exits and follow the signs to to
entrance off Arizona Route 87/287.
I-17N to Flagstaff
- Montazuma Castle Exit 289 off I-17 3mi on Montazuma
Castle Highway. 8-5, $2 each, Sinagura 5 story 20 rooms, no inside
access.
- Montazuma Well 11mi n.e. of Castle. Sinkhole rimmed w cliff dwellings 8-7.
- Lowell Observatory 1400 W. Mars Hill Rd. 9-5 tours. 8:00pm

It may be better to do this in reverse. Sunset crater looks read at twilight but we would have to leave GC early.

US 180S to Petrified Forest entrance then to I-40
- Petrified Forest Petrified Forest stretches between Interstate 40 and U.S. 180. Visitors traveling west on Interstate 40
should exit at milepost # 311, drive through the park and connect with U.S. 180 at the south end. Visitors can then take U.S. 180 west to Holbrook and continue west on
Interstate 40. East bound visitors can exit Interstate 40 at Holbrook and take U.S. 180 east to the park, drive north through the park, and return to Interstate 40.

clearly signed from Hwy 44/550 to the park boundary (21 miles). The route includes five miles of paved road (CR 7900) and 16 miles of dirt (CR 7950/7985).

Saguaro West,or the Tucson Mountain District, may be reached from Tucson by traveling Speedway Road west. Speedway becomes Gates Pass Road; the road ends at Kinney Road where you turn right and continue to the park entrance.
Note: Saguaro East and West are each about 15 miles from downtown Tucson. Along Interstate 10, there are signs directing travelers to Saguaro National Park.
