Years ago I had a paper copy of the Moore family tree going back to the 1700s. That came from someone at a reunion. There was not documentation with it however. All that info is here, but I can't find the papers any more.
About the same time a large packet of Cole family (my Great-Grandmother Lelia's family) was typed into brothers keeper by my mom. The physical documents were returned to where ever they came from. Again little documentation for any of the information existed.
I have kept all that and used it as a base to start with but I'm trying to do it right now and provide documentation for everything. Ancestry.com has been helpful since they have the records and a way to maintain them but I don't like paying for it. Trying to export everything frm there to here.
