The original naming scheme

In the cell stage I use the random generator till I get something i like., lets say Banar. The first cell creature is MicroBanar-A, the next is -B and so forth. The first creature stage version is just ProtoBanar. Then the prefix changes

ProtoBanar "First"
ArchaeoBanar "Ancient"
PaleoBanar "Old"
NeoBanar "New"
DiBanar "2"
TriBanar "3"
TetraBanar "4"
PentaBanar "5"

Until the last creature of the creature stage is just Banar. This way I can keep track of the order in which the creature evolved.

Revised for 2016

I am unhappy with the Di-, Tri- etc. Replacing them with the following scheme.

  • Micro "small". For cells. Followed by a letter.
  • Proto "first"
  • Archeo "ancient"
  • Paleo "old"
  • Neo "new"
  • Megala "great"
  • Sene "Senior"
  • Acro "top"
  • Ultra "extreme" http://users.uoa.gr/~nektar/history/language/greek_latin_derivatives.htm
