Chronicles

Year 750
Spring
Dug stright down. Want to get underground as soon as possible. Put up a stockpile for the embarked goods, and woodcutter felled a tree through the roof and knocked himself unconcious.

Summer
Reached the caverns. Lost half the fort to undead giant hamsters.

Autumn
The dead killed by the hamster have risen and climbed the walls into the fort. Body parts are fighting us in the hallways. Down to 3 viable dwarves. The horses are dead, the dogs are dead. Undead roam outside the walls. We have no water and no one will dig to the caverns. There are dead bodies all over the fort. Its no looking good. Merchants arrived. Opened the gate for the merchants. One of our dead dwarves got in. No viable dwarves left, 6 hospitalzed, all dehydrated and starving. The first one to die will rise and kill the rest.
