Wagon arrived on snowy ground just east of a small plateau. Did a test dig to determine the aquifer depth but moving to the top of the plateau for the initial for entrance. Aquifer is of course at z-2 leaving only 1 level underground above it. Hit rock one layer below the aquifer but hit another aquifer at -12. Found lignite on -11, tetrahedrite and hematite above. Millworks nearly done. found first caverns on -49. They are entirely flooded but surrounded by gold. Goblins have come for the children but our watch animals saw them far off and we were able to chase them away.

Vampire. prey sure its the mayor, Minkot Ralevest he has that look. Reached the second caverns at -72. They aren't flooded and will expand into hem
Winter
Goblins. 6 of them with snatchers. Caught 5 of the six in cages and killed the last one. Need to beef up defenses. Olin locked himself into the caverns and a FB Copgur Againo Rushanwuvul has come. A humanoid of vomit. Discovered a downward passage while fighting the FB. Ran out of coal.
Spring
Vampire struck again. FB Inrus Kiknebin Sostet has come. a clear glass humanoid w spittle. Its in the flooded caverns we never accessed.
Summer
Goblins are back. Vampire struck again. Assigning the mayor a squad and sending him to kill the goblins. The mayor confessed. Was given 666 days for the three murders. killed the goblins, the climbed the unfinished tower., A polar bar wandered into the fort. A glacier titan has come. timik Muwiniwir. Directed it into the tavern and a fell one killed it. Reached the 3rd cavern its also mostly flooded.
Autumn
FB Ile Tholathotholori a gopher w lidless eyes and deadly dust. and vanished, Goblins again. 15 this time. Ran forth to meet the goblins, killed them but they are rising s fell ones. And now our own dead are rising. Need to move the fight away from the ressurecting area. A Goblin fell one killed half a dozen dwarves decimating the military. Before we can clean up a giantess Osmoz Lasutsnugo comes. She is killed by a single dwarf who couldn't even stand before she came. Melbil Fikodnicat gets a statue. Forbid all the stuff around the battle. Moments laster a FB Harena Inanis a crab with webs. We ended up with two Dwarf fell ones as citizens. There are number of non-hostile goblin fell ones roaming around too.

The world has passed into the age of Legends. An other Ettin. We are down to 10 soldiers from a high of 20 but they easily dispatch the Ettin.
Summer
Goblin sieges are getting old. Drove them off. Relocated the yaks to the caverns and reduced the surface foot print so we could raise the walls. FB Akmamzanor Basen a gigantic one-eyed cobra with a poisonous bite. Put everyone on clean up/vacation. FB Galkatustral an eyeless tarantula has come. Last Fb went away. so did this one. Cave swallow-men who cant get to us too., FB Aslot Xob came a one-eyed stegosaurus. Cant get to us. Goblins are back., Defenses are in bad shape we are going to have to fight. We obliterate them with no losses. FB Aste has come a featehed crab with fire. Again cant get to us. Coal shortages. the last FB wont go away and keeps fighting crundles. new migrants after many season of none

Goblins are back and we are much more ready. Then end up fighting a yak skeleton. We also capture a Polar Bear man fell one just after the battle. The mayor is becoming a baron, and is still in a cell. As soon as she got out she went and killed two dwarves. Caught her in the act. Then she killed a third. Locked her back up.
Autumn
A second vampire. I think I know who it is. Shem has has the look. Thy want a crafts guild hall. Another FB Aco Irumatac ana one eyed ant. Not even going to check on it,.

Goblins are back and gone. FB Omsos Ilpithefin a eyles silverfish w fire.

Spring
Goblins again. They give up after we catch the snatchers.

Autumn
building an entire separate complex for the vampires. They are doing much of the work themselves. An Ettin. Mobbed it and made short work of it. Otar Xungbunonu

Winter
The goblins just dont learn. The tavern is an absolute mess after a dozen deaths inside. Hit semi-molten rock but didn't find the magma sea at level -94. Found adamantine! And flooded the lower digs with magma. Went hunting the FB Omos Ilpithefin Sapa Aco. Forgot it had fire. Lost six dwarves but did chase it into the water and when came out killed it. Nil Amrigoth killed it with a shield strike to the brain.

Year 268

Summer
Goblins a re back Something evil is emerging. An agate fiend came up from the adamantine pocket. It avoided all the traps and is in the lower pasture. Lost 7 defeating it. lost 2 dwarves so far digging around. Keep opening magma that spews out. Also water keep finding damp stone FB Fifema a glass quadruped w webs. It can fight th swallow men and crundles.

Autumn
Discovered an artifact down near the lava. And a flickering robe. Lost another miner to gas explosion. FB Stozu Snagosta a feathered lizard w poisonous bite. FB Fifena found its way into the pasture and slaughter everything. It got webs so really bad. Finally stopped its climb on -22. Down to 30 dwarves. There may be more trapped below. Damn thing seem to avoid traps. Will y and drop the roof on it. Trap failed. The FB is looses in the main halls and we cant stop it. Its reached th surface at the same time the elves have arrived. Only 3 dwarves left. Down to just the vampires. Going to try and seal the fort. No somehow the mayor is missing too. The last guy left is trapped. He votes for the other vampire to be mayor who is also stuck. At least Shem the vampire has a pick. Moron gets out and goes to hang out in the tavern and socialize rather than pulling levers. Killed by FB. The only one left if Reg Olinbetan Ralathvin a Fell one who rose inn the earlier combats and became an expert planter. He is trapped on level 20 with no possibility of escape. There are some birds alive in a locked room and a few other pets caged around the fort but it belongs to the FB. Fort abandoned 6th Slate 269.
