Going for the other extreme. Serene. Found a perfect spot. No aquifer. Has Flux, iron, gold, silver, copper, zinc. platinum, tin, lead and bismuth. Sand. clay, soil, shallow and deep metal. Goblins and Kobalds nearby.

Chronicles

Year 202
Spring
Arrived and got everything inside in record time. Digging bedrooms, and down. Got farms up. Walled in surface.

Autumn
Caravan arrived. And a werecamel after that. The carvan guards killed but it wounded the leader and a thrall. Built a burrow for them but the leader wouldn't move. As soon as he turned into a warecamel he did however. Attacked by the caravan gaurds he eventually bled to death.

Winter
The merchants never left. We are taking thier stuff but one of them have been infected by the warecamel. Since it cant move we walled it in out in the forest. Discovered gold.

Year 203
Spring
Started a tavern. Completed the Citidel.Completed the Citidel. One of dwarves started throwing tantrums. Built a dorm.

Summer
FB Kung Rusmo, a scaly thrips showd up in the caverns, but left. Tavern done.

Autumn
The caravan still hasn't left so no migrants.

Winter
Started smelting gold. Switched everyone to hauling for a while. Really need more thralls.

Year 204
Spring
Built two temples with gold statues. Prepared a golden suite for a mayor we will never have. Dug new kitchens and a space for the clothing industry. Started smelting iron. Built an atom smasher. Stopped producing bone crafts, with no caravan coming its pretty pointless to be prepared for them. Also stopped cutting gems. Once of the biggest problems is having enough stone, the miners are mining but also moving the stone. A lot of where they mine is also not generating ahrd stone.

Summer
Started clothes industry. Digging deeper. Discovered platinum, more iron ore and silver ore.

Autumn
Destroyed the trade depot. The caravan moved! We built a new depot and anew caravan came. A wave of new migrants came. We had to destory the depot to get the caqavan to leave. Started producing clothing. Built temples to all the gods. Frame rate suddenly collapsed to 3FPS.

Winter
time skipped..

Year 206
Spring
We dont have a well. Tapping the aquifer. Also using it to create a large underground pasture.

Summer
We struck gold while digging for the well which is going to slow things down. FB Mevena a giagantic eyeless lizard that breaths fire has come.

Autumn
Rebulding the surfaceworks in stone as the new well fills. Surface rebuilding complete. Overhaning fortifications all around. Digging a pit. Stopped flodding of well and widened input because it was too slow.

Spring
Enclsong the battlements with a roof.

Summer
Upper well is filling. Goblins have come The nrth gate wont shut. Have to shut the inner gate instead.

Autumn
FB Carila Tonerifimere a hary toad with deadly dust. A Bronze collos has come, Amizo Ranecimela Thele Feceve. We cage and pit it but it climbs out. We cge it agian. Will have to build a better pit. Relocating everyting down in a more ordered fashion.

Well isnt filling fast enough, Making its pool smaller

Spring
A werecamel. We chased it off. Thought no one was infected but a thrall was. Smashed him.

Summer
Installed the bronze collssos in the hallway. Well is full and millstones running.

Autumn
Dug more bedroom levels. Relocated metalworks deeper in fortress.

Relocation is going well. Most upper levels cleared. Excessive bedtrooms built.

Year 209
Spring
Suddely a mason and two cavy are found dead. No idea why. The goblins return. an eleven diplomat whines aobut some trees. Stupid elven carvan arrives just ater the goblins leave. A werecamel. It rushes in before any of the gates are closed, and gets past the cage traps. We send the full force of the military and the dogs after it. 3 living infected. they are all locked in the hospital

Summer
FB Anayaena a skinless lizard w dealdy blood. old FB is still down there. Improving defenses. Made access to the battlements harder. Added a death pit.

Autumn
The goblins are back in force, like over 100 of them. The defenses worked well, trapped over 30 in the frist pit.Got more with cage traps, killed more with the initial traps. Dropped half a dozen in the second pit. Everything was fine except stupid dwarves one by one running stright into the goblins while trying to "pck up equipment" on the surface. isquashed 50 goblins, beak dogs and trolls in when the goblins left.

Spring
Rebuilt all temples larger. Retired since its not been played in 2 years and game was upgraded to 0.47
