Looking for Iron, Flux, Coal, and sand. Not Thralling but evil present. The only spots are back in the north. Switched to clay present instead of sand. A few more spot but still just in the north. Dropped the requiement for evil present. There are so many towers its always going to be an issue. Picked a conifer forest. Almost flat. Has sand lots of soil, iron, flux , cu, ag, marble. It calm but there is still a tower nearby.

Hit aquifer 4 levels down. Found a huge vein of magnetite.
Fall
A necromancer outpost liason has arrived. Not sure if this is good or bad.
Winter
Slaughted the yak just to make soap.

Year 1979
Spring
20 migrants. Defenses are inadequate. Will use them to fix that. One of them is anectomancer and instantly seized a workshop.
Summer
Defenses are better. Have weapons traps pushing into smasher pit. Cage traps. Building a maze. Added a drowning chamber.
Fall
rodent woman spearman is dehydrated? Added a ceiling collapse trap, a cat behnd a gem. Clothing industry up. Stating to outfit iron squad.

Keas. Correcting citadel access to be more secure.

Year 1980
Summer
Started digging out some dorms rather thanjsut barracks and found more magnetite. A werekoala? Again no one pulls levers. Kills a lot of animals but doesnt seem to infect any dwarves.

Dwarven traders are stuck at the depot. Rebuilt it still stuck. used dfhack still stuck
Winter
A wereskink. Got the gates closed. Two dead.

One of my thralls is a necromancer. Put in a tavern. Making armor for a second squad.
Summer
Hit the caverns.. and a deep pit.

The undead have arrived. Pasture is not secure, there is an angle that lets the enemy into it from the citidel. Lets see how the war rhino performs. They got into the citadel and elimianted all the marksdwarves when I wasnt looking. The war rhino is crap. It runs away. Sealed the fort. The bait kitten is still alive on the surface. Down to 30 dwarves, 50 some udead and a 9 "Friendly" gaunt butchers that are the remains of the merchants that were stuck.Lower gate does not seal. Oh they fly, that is how they got the crossbowmen. Well crap. One of the gaunt butchers wants to join a a citizen, ned the workers.

Spring
Spent the season getting the fort back in order wth 26 dwarves. Retook the armory.
Summer
Lost another 7. Opened the door at the rushed out one by one to pick up equipment and defend the baily right into on the of the exp[eriments.
Fall
Al I want is one wall built. No one will do it. The undead wont come inside, most as in a flooded pit trap. Merchant undead still defend the fort. Undead left. Open the gate and clean up. Migrants. Now there is a "Friendly" experiment. We are out of this place. Abandon the fort.
