Coppervault was located in the Forests of Saffron near the Trifiling Prarie and the Cradled Land.
3 biomes: (Temperate Shrubland, Temp Conifer, Temp Conifer), Cold, (Woodland, Heav For, Heav For), (Moderate Veg, Thick, Thick). (Calm, Calm, Sinister )
Clay, some soil, Shallow metals deep metals.

A river runs EW through the middle and seperates the Calm from sinister. Start North of the river!. Lots of goblins nearby, Same civ as before, some cliff rising to south.

Chronicles
Disovered early on that anything dead rises again except on the very north of the map. Avoid the surface, and the south 2/3rds as much as possible. Site was at a waterfall, dug down, protected the entrance and built the main gate across the face of the waterfall. Started with a wider shaft than previous forts. Got farms up and started to make drink.

Someone fell off the waterfall bridge on to the ice. Dug a rescue to them but by then he starved and came back as undead. There was a disaster at the waterfall bridge, many killed, body parts everywhere.. Spent in inordiante amount of time building coffins and more time filling them. Eventually migrants came and helped but everyone was so busy filling coffins no one pastured the yak. When it starved it went on a rampage. The last dwarf died just as then 2nd outpost liason arrived a year and a half in. 41 dead dwarves.

RIP: 260-01-01 to 261-07-13. Killed by an undead yak
