Chronicles

Year 25
Spring
A speed run. How fast can we get inside. By summer had Butchery, Farms, Kitchen, Mason, Carpenter, Mechanic, animals, dorm, wood, all inside and out of the putrid rain. Fort is sealed. Having the pre laid out area for each industry really helped.
Autumn
We stopped digging down because of a burrow. Migrant came as well as the liaison. Migrants drank all the booze. Must get water from aquifer. Opened aquifer with minimal flooding of pig sty.
Winter
Found caverns. Got lack of drink and food under control. Expanded mines. Found coal.

Year 26
Spring
Opened the gate permanently. We haven't seen any danger. Need wood. Military has the axes and won't give them up.
Summer
Expanded the outdoor pen. Started raising llamas. Had to disband the military to get the axes.
Autumn
A force of vile darkness arrives. It was only one goblin thief but gave us a good reason to rebuild the military and reset alerts. Later a troops of macaques came and caused problems. Sicked the dogs on them.
Winter
Built new pod style dorms. Replaced manager because he wasn't getting the job done. Built bee hives. Llamas thriving. Started mining limonite.

Year 27
Spring
Walled in the surface build. Built display cases for the artifacts. Started digging beneath the first caverns.
Summer
FB Othri has come. A 3 eyed tarantula. It left without causing a problem
Autumn
Trades a crap load of figurines for cloth. Built a citadel with overhanging fortifications. Will have crossbowmen patrol. Made first steel.
Winter
Added two windmills and millstones. Built an outdoor tavern.

Year 28
Spring
Dug down to semi-molten rock. Moved back up and found we went right through the magma sea. Opened it and discovered adamantine. Started building smelters and forges and bedrooms above the magma. Lost 7 dwarves when the forges came up to a fire imp 6 soldiers and one metalsmith.
Summer
Abandoned the magma forges for now. Need armored dwarves. Started mass producing iron arms. Removed all ammo from bins. Reworked woodworks.
Autumn
One squad is all armored up. Merchant caravan stopped at edge of map. No migrants
Winter
Started fishing the caverns. Hunters are complaining of no ammo

Year 29
Summer
Caused a cave in and injured several dwarves when building a water reservoir
Autumn
Outfitted all temples with gold statues. Opened a library of Granite and Gold.
Winter
Made everyone a thrall for a while and let everyone do any job for a while too. Made soap. Tallow stockpile was set to give to soap makes but wouldn't do it, so makers said no tallow. Sent the all iron squad on a mission, and immediately after that an Ettin arrived. Guys hadn't even left the fort yet. We made short work of the Ettin.

Year 30
Summer
A FB Tacnu Setrubuquud. a giant earwig cames and left. The mission returned, with no news. It died later (killed by a troglodyte according to legends).
Winter
Another Ettin, it doesn't even make it to the gate.

Year 31
Spring
Sending the entire military (30) after a goblin held artifact. Rebuilding the entire outer wall in diorite and mcrocline blocks. Expediton came back very quickly. Found pile of steel weapons on he edge of the map when macques stole from it. Redid armory stockpiles so it got picked up. Added stockpile 3x exclsion around all walls. Started working with workflows to fix bag production.
Summer
Workflows are working ok for cloth. Can't get dyes to work right. Dwarves are taking clothing as fast as I can make it. Started 3 new military squads. Everyone but miners and woodcutters will get trained.
Autumn
Found out the upper bailey has been locked off since the last ettin. Made 100 bags, mill jobs still stop because no free bags. A Cyclops has come, it dies easily. A FB Rurast Stelidshash atowering humanoid made of water is in the caverns and left.

Year 32
Spring
Another FB Remofe a green glass scorpion. Still not milling dimple cups. Solved bag stockpile issue.
Summer
Autumn
Started extracting adamantine and making into wafers.
