The Year 313

Spring
Can't get anyone to melt some copper and bronze objects we don't want. Also can't find the copper pick thats out there somewhere so no digging is happening. Want the stuff melted to make a new pick.

There is another FB in the mid caverns. Never noticed it arrival. Oh its the feathered earthworm again. It seems beat up. Some of the caverns collapsed. We didn't do it. Another child came of age. Another Edem.

313-04-02. Goblins are back. One Goblin. Who runs away. since we are on alert we are going to go get the FB

We send Udiquogub to dismantle the wall closing off the mid-caverns and somehow he does it from the wrong side. Possibly because I don't know which gate was opened. Maybe we wont get the FB can't get to it without a pick.

Didn't reseal the caverns quick enough, Blind Ogres got in.

313-06-16 a Wereelephant. Cant get any to pull the lever to the caverns. Been waiting on that for a while. How long will it take to pull this one? Wereelephant dies before everyone gets inside. Quarantining a mercenary who bit the wereelephant.

We have a pick again.

Autumn
The Monster hunters we allowed in are exploring the caverns and found am much higher magma pool. All the way up at the mid-caverns. The mid-caverns are much more extensive than previously thought. Lycanthropy was not transmitted to the mercenary who bit the wereelephant. He walk out of quarantine, we need a better facility.

Sending the Snowy Terns to raid the goblins at Roguehatred They came back, no mention of what happened.

Winter
313-10-18. FB Sarek Onullish Luslemozsit, a one eyed pterosaur in the lower caverns.

The Year 314

Still at war.

Spring
Got some new bedrooms built for the mercenaries. Planted strawberries and blueberries for variety. Added two traction benches to the hospital.

Summer
Reorganized the military. Formed the Blizzard Men for the mercenaries, metal armor. Ice wolves will be citizens, adamantine armor and weapons.

Autumn
Built a generic temple. Getting a lot of use.

Winter
Opened up one of the old farms to the light to plant new crops. Taking forever to roof it back over. This is a security problem.
314-11-03 another FB. Edimi Nulaaquiya. A quadruped of Jade. mid caverns.

Some hungry heads got in. Not sure where Got the hole sealed up.

The Year 315

Spring
poutls are being slaughted but meat is going to waste in butchers. No hides tanned.

Summer
crundles getting in can't figure out where.

315-04-27 FB Thepani Vathibiretha. Humanoid of grime an filth.

Found Edimi Nulaaquiya's body in the magmaworks. That means it got in from the mid caverns somehow.

Autumn
Spent all season butchering and cleaning the butcherys out.
315-10-02 goblins are back but just passing through.

The Year 316

Spring
training wolverine and racoons. Goblins passed back through.

Summer
Opened the mid caverns to adventurers.

Autumn
Cave ogres came in from the mid caverns Lost two. Down to 4 dwarves outside of mercenaries.

The war continues. Abandoning the fortress. Four aren't enough to handle things and no more are coming. Dozens of krundles are are roaming the caverns and other stuff keeps showing up.
