Picked a spot in the map with wierd symbols, blue exclamation marks on the small map, this is just to tes the Guzgeshud Fort Design.
Summer 318
Dug down and hit caverns almost as soon as we hit stone. This distrupted the planned pattern for the fort. Stared sealiong off the caverns and expanded. Surface seems rather pleasant except the large rhinos, we are avoiding it. Got all the componant of the fort build except the metalworks. We can butcher which the previous fort would not do. Several Cave ogres killed some dwarves. We increased security around the caverns as a consequence, now cage traps are collecting lots of draltha, trolls and elk birds. Kept having to make cages. Can't keep plant production up to brewing. Migrants keep coming. Reached the second caverns and will use them for a well, which is blocked by a single silver nugget that wont go away. Occasional kobald theives.
Autumn 319
Second caravan came, and promptly left. Maybe we scared them off with the caged trolls. We have a substantial pile of silver nuggets. Need charcoal and we will start making silver war hammers.

Autumn 320
Migrants keep coming. Up to 70. No drink for months. Trained draltha and Elk Birds. Using Trolls as decoration. TRaded for lot sof cloth and leather. They had only one barrel of rum for sale.
Winter 320
Dug out large areas for undergound pasture. Flooded them from the caverns and flooded a lot of the stairs below them with excess water. Only lost one miner in the disaster and now having to dig more the drain the excess (level 5) water from the future pasture. Built a outdoor tavern, a small indoor library and an excessive 10 story dorm pod. The new dorms are well away from the other diggings because the old one keep getting in the way. TRading lots of gems and crafts solved out cloth problems, still cant get any decent production out of the farms. Still no booze.
Spring 322
Farms are still a problem. No booze. sealed off larger portions of the caverns.
Summer
Something is wrong. We have 600 plump helmets but no one will brew. Getting drink under control by forcing links to still from plump helmet storage.
Autumn
Goblins have come. There are less than a dozen of them. A few cross the dry moat and scale the wall we deal with them easily. Substantially incrased the outer fortications while the goblins camped outside.
Winter
Started digging a real drowing chamber for the dozen elk birds. Back to no more drink.


Spring 323
A weregila has come. Pretty sure we can't shut one of the outer gates. 7 potentially infected. 5 are infectd. managed to contain 4 of them before they turned. We killed the last one with no bites.
Summer
The goblins are back but there are only 6 of them. We sucessfully kill them all. Dedicated a permentant brewer. Missed a weregila had to kill it in the metal works.
Autumn
A FB Ngos a three eyed grasshopper with webs has come. We missed another weregila and it backdoors us whilr fighting the Fb. Between the gila and the webs the fort is down to 10 mostly in the hospital. The FB has full reign of the fort. Valianetly one dwarf at a time recovers from the hospital, picks up equipment and assults the FB alone. We have one dwarven child left, who is caged and 5 weregilas.
Winter
1 weregila left. he wont atack th fb or do anytihng else. Ghosts harrass him. Abandoning the fort.
