Shields
In order to make armor more viable and attempt to eliminate every unit having 2 weapons the following rule more in line with Warhammer Fantasy will be used.

Shields provide an additional +1AS (for a total of +2AS) when used in close combat only with a single handed weapon. There is no change to shields with regards to missile combat.

This means a warrior with only a shield and a one handed weapon gets a 6+ AS when shot at but a 5+ AS in melee combat. However a warrior with a two handed Axe or a spear (because of the spears special rule Unwieldy who also carries a shield is 6+ AS in both situations.

Ladders
Models carrying ladders may not run or charge without dropping the ladder first. Single models carrying ladders move at half their normal movement (with a minimum of 2). If two two models both carry the ladder the may move up to their normal movement, but still not run or charge.

It costs nothing to setup or take down an unoccupied ladder. Any unit within 1" of an occupied ladder (one being used this turn for climbing) may knock it down with a successful S roll, causing the model using the ladder to fall the appropriate distance.

Ladders cost 5gc and are common items.

Shooting at Knocked down or Stunned Units
Unlike the automatic hit in close combat when shooting at Knocked down or Stunned Units a to hit roll is still required, followed by Wound and Injury rolls if applicable.

Henchmen XP
Under no circumstances no matter what a scenario says do Henchmen gain XP for anything other than surviving a scenario.

Heroes don't get the benefit of Henchmen's dirty work
A Hero model must be in close combat with the enemy model on the round an that model was knocked down or stunned to get the XP for finishing off that model. A Hero does not get XP for allowing henchmen to stun a model then running up and taking the kill.

Common Items
Common items (rope and hook, lantern etc..) that are allowed to a model may be purchased at start.

Maximum Warband Size
A warband may purchase a single Animal or other No Experience henchmen group of up to 5 models above its normal warband size limit with an overall maximum warband size of 20. This rule has not effect on Skaven numbers (which already max at 20), but a Witch Hunter band of 5 Heroes, 5 Flagellants, and 2 Zealots could purchase a group of 5 warhounds.

Voluntarily Routing
A unit may not voluntarily route unless it has lost 25% of its warband or 2 models which ever is GREATER. A small unit of 4 Bretonnian Knights can not route until it has lost 2 models.

Frenzy Spell
: Does not double any additional atttacks; secondary weapons, bites claws, etc. Only the base Attack value.

Multiple Atttacks
This came up with the Lizrdmens bite attack. The bite goes last in a round but against an opponent that the same lizard man stuned/knocked down that round the bite attack must make a 2 hit and wound roll it does not get an automatic OOA.

Scythe
see TC8 under Priest of Morr. cost 10gc. Rarity 8.
